Meditation 62: Simple Pleasures

When you break it all down, you come to a peaceful awareness that it’s the little things in life that truly matter. Like the smell of grass on a fresh summer’s day; rain hammering on the roof at night while you’re safely inside, cocooned in a well of blissful ease; conversation that enriches the soul; the healing touch of a lover, any season, any time of the day; the twin gifts of sunrise and sunset; the thrill of reaching out and making someone smile; natural wonders that dazzle the senses; a job well done; dancing into a state of rapture; tapping into a carnival spirit where vitality reigns; loving this world and realising that this moment, right now, is as good as it gets. Simple pleasures rule.
